At Forever Years, we believe games should respect player sovereignty. We do not collect, harvest, monetize, or share any personal data. We do not require user accounts, email registration, physical tracking, or social media linking to play our games. Any data transmitted is strictly limited to anonymous technical diagnostics and error logs used solely to investigate bugs, resolve crashes, and ensure system stability.

This Privacy Policy governs our games (including Deep Ocean 4X and Galactic Dominion), developer websites, and related software tools published by Forever Years ("we", "us", or "our").
Our games are designed to run as self-contained desktop experiences. We do not use intrusive third-party ad networks, advertising trackers, tracking cookies, or commercial user profiling algorithms.

Diagnostic reports do not contain your real name, IP address, user name, financial details, contact info, or directory paths outside of the game's own application sandbox.
03 Information We NEVER Collect
To ensure total clarity, Forever Years never collects, processes, or retains:
- Personal Identifying Information (PII): Names, physical addresses, email addresses, phone numbers, or birthdates.
- Financial & Billing Data: Credit card details, bank accounts, or billing addresses (all commercial transactions are handled securely by digital store platforms like Steam / Valve).

- Private Communications: Audio recordings, microphone feeds, webcam inputs, or keystroke monitoring.
- External Files: Browsing history, desktop contents, or files outside the game installation directory.
04 Local Save Data & Player Control
All your game campaigns, custom scenario modifications, fleet configurations, and game options are stored locally on your personal computer (within standard platform user directories such as %LOCALAPPDATA%Low/Forever Years/).
You have full access and sovereign ownership over these files. You may back up, modify, or permanently delete your local game saves and configuration files at any time through standard operating system file managers.
05 Third-Party Store Platforms (Steam)
Our commercial PC releases are distributed via the Steam platform, operated by Valve Corporation.
When you download, update, or launch our games via Steam, Valve handles account authentication, platform achievements, Steam Cloud synchronizations, and purchase processing in accordance with the Steam Privacy Policy Agreement. Forever Years never accesses or stores your Steam login credentials or payment methods.
06 Data Retention & Security
Any technical diagnostic logs received via automated crash reporting pipelines are retained on secure servers strictly for the development lifecycle of the relevant software update (typically 30 to 90 days), after which they are permanently deleted.
We employ industry-standard encrypted transport protocols (HTTPS/TLS) for any automated bug reporting transmissions to prevent packet interception or tampering.
07 Children's Privacy
Our games and websites are intended for general strategy audiences. Because we do not collect personal data from any users, we do not knowingly solicit, collect, or retain personal information from children under the age of 13 (or under 16 in applicable jurisdictions), complying fully with COPPA and GDPR provisions.
